We’re back with Chief Redhawk (Harley) at the Cherokee Georgia Tribal Grounds, where preparations are underway for the upcoming Spring Pow-Wow. Twice a year, this community opens its doors to share Native culture, history, and traditions with visitors of all ages.
Here’s what you’ll find at the Spring Pow-Wow:
Cultural immersion for kids: over 300 homeschool students will experience exhibitions, tours, and hands-on activities 📚
Aztec fire dancers, live music, and grand entry ceremonies 🔥
A growing museum showcasing artifacts and regalia from Cherokee, Lakota, Blackfoot, Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, and more 🏺
Storytelling, demonstrations, and opportunities to learn about Native American trade, traditions, and clans ✨
Family-friendly vibes with free admission, free camping, and plenty of fry bread & chili 🍲
The Pow-Wow isn’t just an event — it’s how the Tribal Grounds sustain their community, preserve their heritage, and invite others to connect with Native culture.
